  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and milk.
  4. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped apples.
  6. Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Sprinkle half over the batter.
  8. Add the remaining batter and sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar on top.
  9. Swirl with a knife or skewer to create a marbled effect.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. While cooling, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze. Drizzle over cooled bread.
