Ingredients
500 ml (2 cups) water
2 tbsp dried butterfly pea flowers
1 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp raw honey (optional)
1 tsp sliced fresh ginger (optional)
Instructions
1. Boil the water in a saucepan; add ginger if using.
2. Remove from heat and stir in the butterfly pea flowers.
3. Let steep for 10 minutes.
4. Strain if desired.
5. Add lemon juice and apple cider vinegar; watch color change.
6. Add honey if preferred.
7. Serve hot or over ice.
Notes
This recipe makes 2 servings. For a more tangy taste, skip the honey. Use a straw to protect teeth from acidity.
