Description

Comforting slow-cooker bake with tender steak, hearty potatoes, melted cheddar & sour cream finish.


Ingredients

2 lbs sirloin steak, cubed

4 large russet potatoes, diced

1 onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp paprika

Salt & pepper to taste

Chopped green onions for garnish


Instructions

1. Season steak with salt, pepper & paprika.

2. Layer potatoes and onion in the crockpot.

3. Add seasoned steak on top.

4. Mix garlic, broth, Worcestershire, salt, pepper; pour over.

5. Cook on low 6–8 hrs or high 4–5 hrs.

6. Sprinkle cheddar during last 15 mins.

7. Serve with sour cream & green onions.

Notes

For firmer potatoes, cut larger.

Use chuck roast or flank steak if preferred.

Stove/Oven method: bake in covered dish 350°F for 1½–2 hrs.

Enhance with bacon bits, jalapeños, ranch.
