Description
Golden, crispy wontons filled with creamy strawberry cheesecake quick, fun, and perfect for dessert or parties.
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup strawberry jam
Diced fresh strawberries (optional)
20-24 wonton wrappers
Water (for sealing)
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
1. Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
2. Stir in strawberry jam and diced strawberries if using.
3. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
4. Moisten edges with water and fold tightly to seal.
5. Heat oil to 350°F.
6. Fry wontons in batches until golden, 2–3 minutes per side.
7. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter option, bake at 350°F until golden.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Freeze un-fried wontons for up to a month.
