Ingredients
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 loaf bread (sourdough or baguette)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Warm olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
4. Stir in mushrooms, thyme, salt, and pepper; cook until tender and golden.
5. Place bread slices on a baking sheet.
6. Top with mushroom mixture and shredded cheese.
7. Bake 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the oven to crisp up again.
